Stolen in Ribeirão Preto (SP) by a gang specialized agricultural machinery were recognized by owners stolen on Monday (20) after being recovered by the Civil Police in Rio Verde (GO).
Besides recovering six machines, the operation that took place last week arrested a fence and the head of the gang, which caused a loss estimated at R$2 million. With them, nine of the 14 suspects issued arrest warrants have been arrested.
The farmer Gilson Benedict is one of the victims. He recognized two tractors valued at R$150.000 stolen five months and recovered by police. "It's an empty feeling to get [the property] and not see the machines there. Now I can take it back," says Benedict.
